For driving instructors

Your learners.
Your lesson book.

Free software from a company taking a quarter of your other lessons isn’t free. Bookaiq is the independent option: a flat subscription, no marketplace, and no platform sitting between you and the people you teach.

The maths

25% of every lesson is a lot of lessons.

$20

taken from every $80 lesson on a 25%-commission marketplace

$400

commission on a single learner’s 20-lesson package

A$135

a whole YEAR of Bookaiq Solo — every learner, zero commission

Marketplace figures based on a 25%-of-hourly-rate commission model, checked 12 Aug 2026. Run your own numbers.

Independence

What a marketplace can’t give you.

Not because they won’t — because structurally they can’t. A marketplace must be the sender, the brand, and the owner of the relationship.

Emails from your driving school, not a platform

Confirmations and reminders send from your own business address (Google or Microsoft). Every message builds your name, not a marketplace's.

Your SMS account, at carrier cost

Connect your own Twilio or Bird account and pay carrier rates for lesson reminders. Nobody resells you your own text messages.

Passkeys and enforced 2FA

Your learner list, addresses and payment history deserve better than a shared password. Passkey sign-in, plus two-factor you can enforce.

Yours to leave with

Full export of learners and bookings, an open API on Pro, and no contract. If we stop earning your business, you take everything and go.

No platform competing for your learners

A marketplace is your supplier and your competitor at once — its incentive is learners who come back to it. Bookaiq has no marketplace; your learners only ever see your brand.

Built for lessons

The parts of teaching that aren’t teaching.

Lesson packages with a visible balance

Sell 10 lessons up front. Each booking draws the balance down automatically, and the learner can always see what’s left.

10 × 60-minute lessons6 remaining

Pickups, with travel time protected

Set your service radius, take the pickup address at booking, and the gap between suburbs inserts itself into your day — no more back-to-back lessons 40 minutes apart.

15 km radius

Deposits and no-show fees

Take a deposit or full payment at booking via Stripe, charged in AUD. Late cancellations and no-shows can carry a fee you set — a missed lesson stops being free.

Weekly lessons and a waitlist that fills gaps

Recurring weekly slots for regulars, and when someone cancels, the waitlist is offered the space automatically — the calendar heals itself.

Instructor questions

Can I sell lesson packages?

Yes — sell a block of identical lessons (say, 10 × 60 minutes) up front, and each booking draws down the balance automatically. Learners can check their remaining lessons from their booking link.

Do you handle pickups at the learner's address?

Yes. Mobile service areas are built in — set a service radius, take the pickup address at booking, and travel time between lessons is protected on your calendar automatically.

What stops no-shows?

Deposits or full payment at booking, automatic reminders, and late-cancellation fees you control. A missed lesson is an hour of your income — the schedule defends it.

Is there really no commission?

Really. Bookaiq is a flat subscription (from A$15/month, GST included). We run no marketplace, take no percentage of your lessons, and never market to your learners.

Keep the whole lesson.

Free to start, A$15/month when you’re ready, and every dollar of every lesson stays yours.
